my bad his smith machine looks counter balanced still he a beast lol
We have an old smith machine like that the bar alone is 80 pounds. Its not counter balanced. This guys a beast.

This guy’s got the traditional upper body of an executioner—arms and chest big and strong enough to carry it out manually just in case theguillotine machine didn’t work.
@landlifter also machines in reality all they do is help you push the weight where in essense you can lift 160 pounds curling on the machine.. but in free weights you might only be able to do 120 pounds because you are forced to STABILIZE IT..and use alot more muscle if standing up..machines all you really need to do is push the weight when you think about it ..hopefully i answered your question to the best of my ability.
@landlifter ..it reallly depends what your doing..but heres my point without beting the bush..if you want mass and cuts,..FREE WEIGHTS are king..BUT if your 1 to 3 weeks out of a show and all you want to use is machines so you wont sabotage the growth and cuts you made along the way then thats the way to go..THERE IS NO exact way or method to this.
@muscleten so machines somewhat segregate the body parts that need more pump?
@landlifter absolutely,..but machines though do have there place..for example if your looking to push a little more blood into that particular muscle group so you can get a better pump then thats what a machine id for..its especially good if your 40 years old or above as you can save alot of joint pain doing half free weight training and half machine weight training
@landlifter thanks..this is trully what all bodybuilders must do…plus it be pretty spooky if all bodybuilders in my gym or your gym were to do that..it be dead silence..except with the music playing
question: free weights hit harder than machines right?

His execution on exercises should be emulated. There’s a difference between academia’s definition of textbook form and practical form that you see practiced by strong dudes.
